7.1
Downtown Revitalization- Front Street Updated Design and Centennial Park Phase 1 Design Concept


THAT Council approves the Phase I design concept for Centennial Park and the Front Street concept design as guidelines for future improvements; and further,  

THAT Council direct staff to issue an RFP for engineering & design to estimate implementation expenses; and further,

THAT Council direct staff to seek suitable funding opportunities for the implementation of Centennial Park - Phase I and present them to Council as they arise.

Deeming By-Law Application - 5 & 7 Carlbom Drive


THAT Council authorizes the passing of By-law No. 78-24, Being a By-law to Deem the lots located at 5 Carlbom Drive and 7 Carlbom Drive not to be within a registered Plan of Subdivision.

 
7.3
Deeming By-Law - 86 Third Street, 77 Fourth Street and Plan M232 Lot 200 in Hudson.


THAT Council authorizes the passing of By-law No. 83-24, Being a By-law to Deem the lots located at 86 Third Street, Hudson; 77 Fourth Street, Hudson and Plan M232 Lot 200 Pcl 19895 not to be within a registered Plan of Subdivision.

Collective Agreement 2024-2027


THAT Council approves the new Collective Agreement between the Municipality of Sioux Lookout and CUPE Local 2141, as outlined in the Human Resources Manager's Report dated September 18, 2024; and further

 

THAT Council authorizes the passing of By-law No. 75-24, Being a By-law to Authorize the Mayor, and the Clerk and the Municipal Management Negotiation Committee to Execute a Collective Agreement between The Corporation of the Municipality of Sioux Lookout and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and its Local 2141, and to rescind By-law No. 27-21.

2024 Municipal Operating Budget to Actual - January to June


THAT Council receives the 2024 Municipal Operating Budget-to-Actual update, as outlined in the Treasurer's Report dated September 18, 2024.

Requests for Financial Support


THAT Council, respecting requests for financial support received by Delegations at the July Regular Council Meeting:

 

  1. Defers the requests to the 2025 Budget, which at such time they will be reviewed with any other donation requests.  This would be consistent with Council's determination during the 2024 Budget process that the Municipality was not in a position to provide such cash contributions in 2024. 

    OR 

  2. Approves the two requests, and such requests be funded from the unused 2022 Budget Surplus.
